Celebrating with internationals

  • Celebrating with internationals

Over 80 participants completed the international online seminar of ADIMIS on small group leadership on Tuesday evening. This marked the end of the third and final level of the one-year training programme. Many have already started one or more small groups. One participant enthusiastically reported that the training fundamentally and positively changed his view of Christian ministry and mission. He recognised people, friends and relatives in his neighbourhood who longed for fellowship and deeper relationships and invited them to his home group.
TED President Daniel Duda shared his thoughts in his closing devotion and encouraged the participants: "When we grow up, sometimes the hope dies, the conviction that my life matters weakens. We lose sight of the conviction that we are supposed to walk and that no setback is fatal. Then, the vision fades, and the hope dies. And when hope dies, we die right along with it. We easily forget that God says, ‘For I know the plans I have for you... plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’ (Jer 29:11)

Will you wait for the circumstances to bring you hope, or will you bring hope to your circumstances? Jesus & Paul hoped, and they changed the world! It is in your power to choose hope and manage the risks and fears wisely. Just like Joshua & Caleb, you can choose hope and manage fear.”
