    About the Book

This 2019 book published at Taos, NM by Trust House Publishers is a very succinct but powerful account of priceless lessons learned by a dedicated church planter. The 13 short chapters spread across 58 pages provide insights that can strengthen any church planter, as well inspire aspiring church planters. You don’t need to agree with Edward’s theological orientation before you accept that the 13 lessons he learned are crucial and consequential for mission.

Some of his lessons are that – God loves people more than we do; it is His church and not ours; leading with authenticity is better than leading with authority. Edwards opines that it is possible to know more about how not to plant a church than how to plant one. Therefore, he presents the lessons he learned as an encouragement and testimony to God’s faithfulness in the church planting initiative.

We can take Edwards as reputable in sharing his experience. His lessons are not just of success but also of lessons learnt from his failures. For every church planter, Edwards stands as a contemporary witness that even in an urban center, effective church planting schemes can be carried out. Would you not like to learn how he succeeded? If you would, then spend a couple of hours reading through this book.
